We have regular monthly meetings in Beverley to which members from the whole constituency are welcomed. Any help with campaigning is always welcome.

 

The parliamentary constituency of Beverley and Holderness is part of the East Riding of Yorkshire.

It covers a huge geographical area going right from Spurn Point in the south and the seaside town of Withernsea, up to Hornsea, across to Beverley and then down to the borders of Hull. The other significant town is the historical borough of Hedon almost on the shore of the Humber. There are over 80,000 residents in the area - it is one of the largest constituencies in England.

The constituency is largely agricultural in nature with many small very attractive villages.


HOLDERNESS is divided into four wards:

South East Holderness - EASINGTON, HALSHAM, HOLLYM, HOLMPTON, KEYINGHAM, OTTRINGHAM, PATRINGTON, RIMSWELL, ROOS, SKEFFLING, SUNK ISLAND, WELWICK and WITHERNSEA

South West Holderness - HEDON, PAULL, PRESTON and THORNGUMBALD,

North Holderness - ATWICK, BEWHOLME, HORNSEA, MAPPLETON, SEATON and SIGGLESTHORNE

Mid Holderness - ALDBROUGH, BILTON, BURSTWICK, BURTON CONSTABLE, BURTON PIDSEA, CATWICK, CONISTON, EAST GARTON, ELLERBY, ELSTRONWICK, HATFIELD, HUMBLETON, RISE, RISTON, SKIRLAUGH, SPROATLEY, SWINE and WAWNE


BEVERLEY is divided into three wards:

Minster and Woodmansey - is made up of the area of Beverley around Beverley Minster and Woodmansey which includes the village of Woodmansey as well as the Beverley town area round Lincoln Way.

St Mary's - includes the town area round St Mary's church and the parish of Molescroft

Beverley Rural - BESWICK, KILNWICK, BISHOP BURTON, CHERRY BURTON, DALTON HOLME, ETTON, LECONFIELD, LEVEN, LOCKINGTON, LUND, MIDDLETON ON THE WOLDS, NORTH NEWBALD, ROUTH, TICKTON AND WALKINGTON
