This is what your Labour government has done for you -
- Maternity Leave paid for 9 months, leave for up to a year
- Paid paternity leave so dads can help too
- Sure Start centres which give wrap around childcare, health care and other services - four so far in Beverley and Holderness
- Free nursery places for 12.5 hrs a week (15 hrs this year) for all 3 and 4 yr olds
- Working Tax Credits of up to £300 a week - £175 a week for 1 child
- Child Trust Funds - A £250 gift to your children born after 2002 and a further gift when they are 7 yrs old
- An Educational Maintennce Grant of up to £30 a week to help your child to stay on at school after 16
All these are at risk with a Tory government intent on drastic public sector cuts
